Diana Kirova was born in Sofia, Bulgaria, and has been residing and working in Rome since 1992. Starting at the age of 7 when she began painting at the Pioneers Castle in Sofia—a haven for artistically gifted children. After two years of attendance, family obligations led her to relocate abroad.
Upon her return, she embarked on drawing lessons with Architect Susi Aronova, preparing herself for admission to the Academy of Fine Arts in Sofia. In 1988, got married, and settled in Rome. Driven by her love for art, she enrolled in the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome in 1996. She made an attempt by entering the Celeste Prize Competition, where she secured a place among the 20 painter finalists with the work "To Be or Not to Be."
Following this breakthrough, Diana Kirova began to carve her path, engaging in artistic discourse, and presenting her work to the public. She gained numerous participations in national events and received several awards. Notable solo exhibitions include displays at the Kerr Village Art Gallery in Canada, ABC Art Gallery in Rome, M.C.Art Gallery in Civitavecchia (RM), the "Il Tinello Borghese" civic museum in Monte Compatri, Azimut Capital Management SGR in Rome, Orler Gallery in Punta Ala, SC-Gallery in Rome, Elsa Morante Cultural Center in Rome, and La Bitta Art Center in Rome.
