Viktorija Valujeva, „Stopovička”, 2009
70x50 cm, acrylic on canvas
Viktoria Valueva's painting 'Stopovička' represents an early masterpiece reflecting the artist's acute perception of contemporary reality, poetically depicted through a fitting artistic expression. While showcasing a profound understanding of the present, in recent years, Valueva has transitioned to an abstract form of expression in her art, focusing on the essence of cognition and mood within her paintings.
Viktorija Valueva (born 1986) graduated from the Painting Department of the Latvian Academy of Arts, workshops of Kaspars Zariņš and Aleksej Naumov. Participates in exhibitions since 2006. Organized by 7 solo exhibitions, including the exhibition "Inconsistency" (2016) at the Marka Rothko Art Center in Daugavpils. Since Since 2014, she is a lecturer at Daugavpils University.
